Elections and Voter Registration

Since Proposal 18-3, there has been several changes to the Election law.

  • You can register to vote at the Secretary of State up to 15 days before any elections.

  • From the 14th day before and on Election Day anyone can register to vote with the City Clerk in the City Office.  Hours are 8 am - 5 pm with the exception on the day of any Election the hours of the Clerks office will be 7 am - 8 pm.  But you will need proof of residency.

  • Before every Election the Clerk will be available for absentee voting and voter registration on the Saturday before from 8 am - 4 pm.

  • No one will need to provide a reason to vote absentee any longer.

  • Must Vote in Person provision has been deleted.
