Tigers Win Div 7 State Football Title!

Congratulations to Hudson Area High School Tigers Football on their Division 7 State Football Championship.  The Tigers earned Lenawee County's First-ever State Football Title by defeating the Ishpeming Hematites 28-26 at Ford Field on Saturday, November 27th.  Hundreds of local supporters then welcomed the victors home with a reception in the main downtown intersection.  The crowd cheered as Coach Luma hoisted the MHSAA Division 7 trophy above his head.  For many, the championship ended a long wait, as this victory came 35 years after Ishpeming broke the Tigers' then-national record 72-game winning streak in 1975.
